Who are the camp directors? SMC Head Coach Lydia Strong and staffl will lead the camps. They will be assisted by current and former SMC Men's and Women's Basketball players.
What is camper to coach ratio? 8:1
Can we register our team and get a discount? Yes

Can I register more than one child and get a sibling discount? Yes
Will you have a snack bar available? Yes! Parents will be able to leave money in the camp store/snack bar for their children to purchase water, Gatorade and other snacks throughout the day.
My child has never played basketball, should I still register him or her? Yes!! The fundamentals camp is a great way to start enjoying the game.
How do I register? You can register online or via mail.
When do I register? Registration is now open.
How much does the camp cost? $275.00 per camper if this is your child's first time registering for the SMC Basketball Camp.
$235.00 per camp for returning campers
I've registered, now what happens? Confirmation and waiver will arrive via e mail.
Are lunches available to purchase? No. Campers must bring lunch daily.
Where will the camps be held? On the Santa Monica College Campus. 1900 Pico Blvd. Santa Monica CA 90405
Can parents watch camp? Yes, but parents must watch in the designated areas.
Where do I drop off my child? In the drop off circular area next to the Santa Monica Pool located on campus. You must drive into the main entrance to locate the drop off area. Our camp counselors will be stationed in the dropoff area. The counselors will escort campers in groups to the gym. We have found this is the most convenient way for parents to drop off their campers. You can of course park and escort your child to the gym, but parking is usually difficult in the mornings as SMC summer school is in session.
Where do I pick up my child? In the Pavillion Gymnasium.
Please call the SMC Basketball office at (310) 434 - 3559 if you anticipate a pickup after 3:00 PM. Our staff will initiate contact with parents/guardians at 3:10 PM if a camper has not been picked up and we have not received a call.
A late pick up fee of $1.00 per minute will apply if your child is not picked up by 3:10 p.m.
